Yes I mean it.

You dont get the BASIC-52 chips in India ( or anywhere for that matter - I guess )

(Come over to the normal 8051 derivatives that have built in Flash and life will be fun.)

Anyway in your case you seem to have built the 8052-Basic kit and quite frankly you can get it going with normal 8051 also - if you would like to start fresh I can mail you some monitor programs or point to some links in the net . Once you get that, you burn into a EPROM and you can start working with the 8051. ( Sorry I have said all this without referring to the microcontroller idea book - maybe it has better ideas )
