What u meant by ": it needs 3x38 to start off with"?Is it I no need the (lcall D0) for every instruction and I only need to put at the first lcdsetup only?
When I test the LCD with my hardware,the same program occur that is only 2nd line of LCD turn on and whatever bit I set,the result also the same.If pin 3 did not tie to GND,then nothin appear.If pin 3(constrast) tie to GND,then only all line 2 turn black and line 1 is totally blank.U all also can email me at alan_cheah80@hotmail.com.
