i had setup timer 2 as baudrate generator and also send it out via p1.0 , in my program it's should send out some data from p3.0 as long as the power on , but after a reset signal , p3.0 stop sending data ,it just remain in hi level, and some time only a pulse when cpu recieved a reset signal ? and if i turn off the power and put Vcc to GND for about 1 sec. then turn the power back the cpu will work find again?

1) it is bad practice to use the UART timer for asnything ellse, try removing the other uses and see what happens.

Are you saying that if you do the above the UART does what you want?
