If you use an Analog Devices ADuC8xx which has a built in ADC and DMA controller, you could automate the recording to an external RAM IC, without having to use code to perform the ADC read and memory store.
Several years ago I used the ADuC812 to record an analogue signal faster than 10KSPS. |
