Hey guys, girls and gurus!

I've been asked by a client to desin him some simple rugged acces control system. It wil - of course - be contrlled by a 8052 µC - a T89C51RD2-Sm to be specific. My client asked a bout standard swipe cards, as keys, and this is quite simple to do, but it's not robust. I tought of using the Dallas Ibutton DS 1990A serial number chip. Has any of you any experience with these devices?
