#42385 - RE: Software Version Control Responding to: ???'s previous message |
I also use Keil uVision2 and Source Safe for software development. When I am the only one working on a project, Source Safe is a bit of a over kill. I create new source files and document the code when there a good stopping point for testing.
Source safe is a good tool when multipul programmers are working on the same project. It will track what modules were modified by who and when. It can extrack the differances between module modification, if the programmer uses it correctly. If you have it, try it. Its easy to use the basic features. Joe |
