Dear Nick,
Sorry if I have sounded blunt. But I am really not getting your problem - all you are looking to do is a basic serial transmission and then read back the acknowledgement from the client who got it OK. The tutorials link on the left of this page deals with serial comm capabilities of the 8052 nicely. Have you read it ? And once you are clear on this - most of your "problems" should vanish. Raghu |
