Hi Charlie,
I went looking for data on the Temic U4224B chip that we used, & found this site - a good place for you to start. http://www.pacificsites.com/~brooke/timefreq.shtml Attached is the Basic program for decoding the DCF-77 signal into time & date. The receiver (antenna + hybrid decoder module, can be purchased as a weather-proof unit) gives a 100mS or 200mS pulse every second into the CTS input of a COM port (RTS or DTR can give power). The program then follows all this & once in sync (between 1 & 2 minutes - patience!), displays time & date. Regards, Richard King |
