i'm using Timer 2 of an 8XC52FX to count events with a rate up to 60 kHz. What is the best solution to avoid problems when reading the current T2-value ? Unfortunatelly, i can't use T2EX (P1.1) to capture the Counter. I think i have a software-workaround, but i almost try to find the best solution.

Is it possible to capture T2 by software ?

C/T2 = 1
CP/RL2 = 1
EXEN2 = 0
