First of all, I'm back from a week-long vacation in Cancun Mexico. I had a great time with my wife, I'm happy to say.

I did not announce my departure ahead of time because it's like announcing that I'm leaving my house abandoned for a week. Bad things can happen when you advertise that fact--both to your home and your website. It used to be I could leave the message board unattended for a week without any problems. I guess that time has come to an end.

To All: A certain message thread referring to assigning a certain nickname to a certain user has been deleted.

Allen: Starting that thread was completely inappropriate. I've seen you post many valuable messages on this forum. I'm surprised to see that the thread was started by you. The thread was both off-topic and uncalled for. Use better judgement in the future.

Jay: I was on vacations from August 3rd until today. This does not give you the right to attack me--or anyone--on this forum. If you have a problem with the way I run this forum, feel free to take it up with me via email.

PLEASE, Everyone: Don't post off-topic, rude, or obviously obnoxious messages to this forum. If you an off-topic, rude, or obnoxious post, please do not respond to it. There are to be no more flame wars on this message board. I'm tired of it. I will start taking action against those that aren't able to get along. And I don't care who "starts it."
