Maybe it depends on the end product.
If it is a one time product for your own use / hobby / educational etc then no licensing may be required. If it is a commercial product that uses the I2C interface - then the situation could be different. Also is the fact that YOU are creating the software bit-bang routine. This does not any licensing from anybody. If in doubt finally check with Philips.. Raghu |
