#43689 - RE: Setting clock to atomic clock (NIST)
Responding to: ???'s previous message
Hello Mr. Joe Kimbriel and others,

Joe, you are correct in what I am trying to do. I didn't want to correct the time on my IBM PC computer! I want to correct the accumulated error of the different clock(s) hooked up to 8051 system's. I have succeeded in using global positioning system (GPS) and WWV (Colorado, USA) or WWVH (Hawaii, USA) radio frequency signals (5, 10, 15 MHz). Each have their strong points but there is still an area when the only access to an accurate time is using the phone line.

I can use the different c code provided (dial.c, parset.c and hangup.c., etc.) and write a program but I was looking for something in assembly so that I would not have to get into the mixture of the two different languages.

Regards,

Charles Bannister
