Analog periodical signals can be sampled with a slow ADC. For example, you can sample once every period, and delay the time when the sample is taken just a little time fraction every new period. Of course you will need to keep the sampling process in synchronism with the signal.
Of course, if the signal is not periodical, i.e. it does not repeat exactly the same, this method will not work. Alfredo. |
