This might sound odd, but I am looking for a camera/method of capturing more than 60 frames a second, in burst of video. I guess it would have to be at 640x480, but it can be in black and white.

You would think this is for some amazinly complix programing project for profsional video?

No, its because a friend of mine likes to blow up ant piles. He video tapes it with a Sony DV camera and it comes out fairly good. (He sacrfices video sizes to extract 60 frams a sec).

Now, I thought it might be posable to even capture faster. My idea is that you put an array of Two, or even Four of simiarly CCD's, have them capture with like an offset of 1ms from each other, and in post preduction recombine them.

Anyone try this, or have any idea to sync the video to do this?
