Hello all, I want to know the following issues regarding RC5:
1) Whether RC5 can be used for some industrial control systems and / or some devices other than consumer electronics? For e.g. infrared fan speed controller, or light controller etc.

2) I want a list of all system codes and command codes for various purpose. So I will be able to determine the code for (in the above example) fan speed up / down etc.

On the web, I couldn't find any official document detailing the RC5. Whatever is available describes the protocol and the format of the code but not the code actually. The specifications of SAA3010 / 3049 like ICs from philips also didn't contain the required information.
Please help with some information / links.
