u dont need a pullup resistor
if you connect pushbuttons as a matrix for example you connect a 4x4 keyboard to port 3 . first you set all pins to 1 then clear 1 pin and scan the matrix then clear other pin and scan again this way you determine which pushbutton is pressed |
