That depends on what you mean by "controller"!!
As Michael Karas has already explained, an 8051-type microcontroller is almost certainly not up to it - certainly not on its own!
If, by "controller", you mean something like an ARM, then it probably is possible - but then you're in the wrong forum.
Even if it is possible, whether it is practical for one individual with (apparently) no previous experience is an entirely different question...!!!
