For the OSD application ,STV5730 is not available in small quantity for experimentation so I took out an OSD chip
from an unused VCR.The chip is Sanyos LC74784 it is similar to STV5730.
My problem is how do I derive the clock for
the serial data transfer to the OSD chip,
from the 8051 running at 12Mhz.Shall I use a buffer(like 74HC04) to this 12Mhz clock and give as the serial clock for the the OSD chip.
Anybody who had experimented or developed
OSD applications please help.
