So, it would be wise to learn ISP programming in next future, when you really need this feature.
Why not go ISP from the beginning and save the headache of doubting whether a problem is due to you kitchen table built programmer or something else.

For very high volume OTP will probably still be around, but that has no significance in development unless your code is always right the first time :-)
