They also mention an 80251 compatible core. If you want speed, that's the place to look.
The 251 is basically an 8051 with 16MB linear address space, 8-bit, 16-bit, and 32-bit registers, 32-bit multiple/divide (in 32-bit registers), more SFR space, more bit-addressable memory, and so on. Jon |
