in this case you have to use a divider for oscillator frequency to measure it, isn't that right? I just read the DS80C320 Datasheet.
It has a ring oscillator which is used only for exiting stop-mode and the frequency is about 3 MHz . Measuring i.e. 12MHz is impossible without divider. Christian |
