Actually, I'd like to experiment with the ISD voice recognition chip to see if it can be trained to recognize digital radio packet preambles and link its recognition to a decoding system. I suspect I'd have to digitally sample the radio scanner signal into a hold buffer till it recognized the pattern, but it sure sounds like my type of fun. :)
