There are a few rules of etiquette (good, polite behaviour) that you need to observe on any internet forum if you want to get good answers to your questions, and avoid the wrath of its members:

1. Before posting any question, be sure to establish the scope of the forum - will your question be on-topic?

2. Before posting any question - especially as a newbie - be sure to read the forum's FAQs (Frequently-Asked Questions) and other resources, and use any 'Search' facility to establish whether your problem has already been addressed.
