An assembler routine to find the lowest byte among 12 internal RAM locations can be written in 9 (nine) instructions. Sorry, but I think this is homework, so I'm not going to present it on a platter :-) but I'll give a hint: look at what the CJNE instruction does with the carry flag if the destination byte is smaller than the source byte.
