#45543 - RE: Installation of Keil MON51 Responding to: ???'s previous message |
As a followup:
There are several 8051 monitor programs available as freeware. All such programs are really intended to provide a debug interface for the micro, and, as such, are intended to reside in RAM not ROM. Most of them insert breakpoints into the code by replacing instructions at the breakpoint with jumps to a service routine in the monitor. Not possible in ROM. What is your intended use of the monitor? |
