#45658 - RE: how to.....(pc keyboard) Responding to: ???'s previous message |
hi all
1. According to the manual it returns all the key disregarding how many keys are held down. and each key has its unique scan code. 2. when a contact is made by pressing a key kbd sends a scan code for that key. and when key is released another two byte code is send 0f0h followed by scan code of the depressed key. 3. keyboard has a 16 byte fifo on which key is stored if the system on the other side is not in a position to service the key. 4. if 1,2 are working then why not the commbined arrow key while kbd has its own prosessor to resolve that? question for my self. may be the detailed code will help. abhishek |
