The I2C interface is not the question.

All modules of electronic tuners are based on specific PLL / prescaler which is VCO dependent. For an example you can see the data of LA7215 of Sanyo.

The question is that these modules tune thru SCl/SDA I2C protocol and give out IF signal.

There are other modules call IF modules which connect downstream the tuner modules.

The IF tuners take in IF signal and give out audio and video. The information of IF modules has been requested. At least which chip is used in them.
