There is no way to program an 8051, since marking as 8051 means, that it was factory programmed !

Only such devices, which are marked 87C51 or 89C51 can be programmed with a programmer.

But there are many different manufacturers all over the world, which use also different programming algorithm.

So at first, you must check, if the programmer support this manufacturer and this device, which you want to use.
