#46051 - RE: Use of the KOH term. Enrique Responding to: ???'s previous message |
Steve,
A degree ampere? A degree meter? Methinks not! The SI unit of temperature is the kelvin, symbol K and there is a derived unit called degree Celsius, symbol °C which has the same magnitude. That's all there is to it. In the example you give I think it should be made clear in text that the figure is a differential specification rather than relying on the equivocal 'degree'. This is after all how it is done with every other physical unit. Best regards, Rob. |
