#46121 - RE: Pulses Counter Responding to: ???'s previous message |
Abhishek,
I see plenty of reasons to generate random pulses. Not too long ago I had to make a program that where to replace a chip that delivered white noise. I did it by using random numbers, sending out 1 or 0 if the rand was less or above a certain threshold. Although the signal will of course not be true white noise, the application only demanded the signal to saound like white noise. And it did as well. I verified this on a spectrum analyzer as well. I don't have the range it delivered right here, but my program delivered noise up to about 15 kHz. So there you have an application for it.... Øyvind.. |
