#46218 - Ports high on power on and reset |
Hi
I have read a previous thread on the ports of the Atmel 8051 chips that go high on reset or power on. The one solution was to work inverted, keeping the ports high and switching by setting the pins low. Lets say I don't want to work inverted. How would I keep the Atmel's high going to affect the rest of my circuitry? Has anyone found a good practical method? I was thinking of using the "power-on reset" cap in conjunction with a transistor. Would it work? Thanks Roelf Pringle |
