#4628 - RE: large external lookup table |
steve
The converter that I will be building is designed for very high power applications (MW region), and there are not many suitable bidirectional switching devices. It is different from all other converters, so the 2Khz swithcing frequency is correct, i tested in Simulink. I was wondering if it is feasible to read my COS values as 4bytes from an external ROM at a frequency of upto 12-24kHz. The control algorthm requires COS values in identical increments (depending on the desired output freq and voltage), so at higher frequencies, the increment is smaller. I calculated the highest frequency I would test, and reached a value of 0.0001 deg. I wont need to read each value in the table, I just want to have as many stored values to allow a wide range of operating parameters for my experiments. I hope this clarifies my problem konrad |
