I think this is the third time I am dissauading someone from using the BASIC version of 8052. The other two guys are reasonably happy - or so I think as they have not sent me any flames. I gave up trying to locate this fellow in India some ten years back.

i know you live in Mumbai and it is better that you drop this idea of 8052 Basic AH or BH.

Maybe you will get it at 19USD - assuming it gets past the Indian Customs. I dont know what duty they will clamp on it. Assuming you get away with NIL duty (!) the price works out to 950 INR.

The question is why ?

1. Use an obsolete chip?
2. Cannot do ISP ?

When you can get an P89c51rd2 for 300INR and that is current, has on board flash , can be programmed ISP, can use free software Flash Magic.
