I\'m a University student working with an 8051 microprocessor for my 4th year design project. Since we have no money, we\'re just using SDCC.

I\'m wondering how to grab a single bit from a byte. I glanced at the instruction set, and it doesn\'t seem possible to directly get a bit from a byte. The SDCC docs don\'t indicate to me what the C syntax is for this.
