I think you dont know about morse code, this technique still used by military and amateur radio. I am also a radio amateur and using morse code for communication all over the world. If you appear for amateur radio exam in India you have to pass morse code test. Even in USA which is very advance in communication and electronics there amateurs are still using morse code for communication. In morse code there is lot of advantage. You can use very low power transmitter for communication, only 10w is sufficint for world wide contacts and morse code signal can be heard during thunder storm but you can not hear AM(MW, SW) signal. Just you on you radio during thunder storm and most of the time you will hear high crackling noise. Just you search for morse code in google and you will get lot of results I think more then 8051 results.
