No. We are clear. If you want the size of the HEX file your assembler will tell you. If you have converted to BIN then Windows explorer will tell you or your programmer will normally tell you that it is going to download this size of file. And the BIN file size is the one that you should worry about. Unfortunatley in this particular case, irrespective of man or woman, size DOES matter : You cannot fit a 5K bin on to a MCU that has 4K flash. You are welcome to revert if confusion still persists.
