What address to do you send the char for the next line?

There should be a 4ms delay after <clear command>.

CLEAR_LCD:
CLR RS
MOV LDATA,#01h
ACALL LCD_SNT
ACALL WAIT_4MS
RET

I used the above routine for clear screen command. I grounded RW pin as I do not need to read anything back from LCD.

LDATA is a RAM location I used for temporary storage of any char. or command I want to sent out to the LCD.

LCD_SNT is the routine I used for sending any character out from LDATA to LCD port.

WAIT_4MS is a wait routine for 4ms.
