Hi Steve,
I have only tested a single device. But I think, it must work. Also I have seen no jumps (missing codes) on slow rising or falling of the temperature. Means, it look true monotonous. If you want to use more devices: 1. use separate pins for every device. 2. use an analog switch (74HC4051) to select a device. 3. use the DS1820, which can be separate addressed on the same wire.
