#48118 - Oscillator Accuracy |
I have been recently wanting to migrate to one of these mixed signal MCUs.
I was studying the Cygnal list of products. Quite an impressive list of packages. There in the lsiting, there is a column "Internal Osc" and I could find values varying from +/- 20% for regulars to +/- 1.5% for the higher end fellows with on board CAN and USB. Does it mean, that if I use a C8051F020 chip that has +/-20% accuracy, all the onboard timers will provide that kind of accuracy only ? I thought this is way too poor. Though I can compensate for this in software, is my assumption correct? ( The data sheet download is underway - but nothing like hearing it from the experts ) Thanks Raghu |
