I would reply the same as the others have. In the case of the Cygnal evaluation boards the "limited" version of the C-51 compiler from Keil is fixed at 4K bytes size program with no floating point support and no banking support of multi-bank applications. However I have found that this version does not seem to have a size limitation on assembly language programs. At least I made an 8K or so sized program with it before I had a full released copy of the Keil toolset.
