#4837 - LCD Interface |
All...
I am using an LCD unit (graphic capable) that is driven by a Sanyo LC7980 uP (on the LCD). I was able to obtain data sheets on this chip but, still cannot get it to turn on (and the LCD is good). It is connected to an 8051: Data = P1.0-7 E = P3.4 R/W = P3.0 RS = P3.1 CS thru PPI MS = 5V (unfortunately this configures the unit to run with a Motorola 68 series uP) Although I have adjusted my timing to match that of the 68' series, could this be the reason why the LCD will not even turn on??? Does anyone have any experience with this type of display/configuration. Any help would be much appreciated. Ben House |
