#4840 - PL/M-51 VS ASM-51 Question |
I am learning the 8051 and noticed in the Intel Microcontroller Applications Manual that alot of the applications used PL/M-51 (the latest App. dated 98'). From what I've read, Intel designed PL/M-51 to as an improvement over ASM-51. If this is true, why isn't used? What became of PL/M-51, didn't Intel improve it over time or is it a dead language?
