ALl the bits of your Port 2 can be individually determined to be input or output. Just remember that for a bit to be an input you must simply program the corresponding output register bit to a "1".
Sounds kind of like you have 82C55 on the mind. Stop and read about the port mechamism in this document: http://www.semiconductors.philips.com/acrobat/v...WARE_1.pdf ...and you will see exactly how the ports work. |
