If you dont need a very high speed A/D conversion and your controller a little bit free, A/D conversion can be done by the simple 8051 too ( or the most recent ones have PWM buit in which makes the job easier)


The link "chips" on the 8052 page itself can help you a lot. how about clicking it and downloading some datasheets
