The P89C51RD2 has internal xram, called ERAM. It is enabled on startup. Therefore whenever you access the lowest 768 bytes of XRAM it is accessing the ERAM, not your external XRAM. That is why there are no RD and WR pulses.
Consult the datasheet for disabling the ERAM. - Lee |
