Ihave connected res. of 120 ohm between my receiver end. Also used bias resisters of 1k from ground and vcc.
That should not hurt below say 50 ft, but the correct values are 750R, 130R, 750R, see ten ways... What termination is required at driver side? 485 forget driver side, receiver side or whatever re termination. As ten ways.. clearly states RS485 must be terminated in both ends. It makes no difference if both ends are biased or only one. Erik |
