Yes please check Eternal Access (EA) pin is connected to VCC or not?
It should be high (connected to VCC) in order to fetch the internal ROM from 0000h. If it is low, then uP will try to load 0000h from external ROM, which is not present in your case. there is a slight difference if you just switch from using 89C2051 to any full version of 8051. Rauf |
