Then have you adjusted the init, status, input, and output routines to account for that? For example, in the init routine, the first line is:

MOV     DPTR,#SIOADDR+3

SIOADDR needs to be the correct base address, but you also have to adjust all the offsets (the "+n") to account for the shifted address lines too.
