Hi all,
I´m trying to build a diagnostic tool for DMX512 signals and on the user page Kathy Quinlan's DMX 512 he says that I should use an 8051 @ 16MHz and serial mode 2, and on the standart 8051 tutorial here it says that in this serial mode 2 the baud rate is XTAL / 32, so 16M / 32 = 500K and not 250K that is the operation freq of the DMX signal.
I´m getting the wrong picture or what?
