If this has surprised you, were you not surprised by the fact that in the 8052 the RAM areas and SFRs occupy the SAME address above 0x7F ?

As far as I know there are two differnt physical memory locations and both identified by SBUF. The MCU is smart enough to know which to use when... ( And this was already confirmed by Donald - lest someone comes and says that I am an Echo... )
